The first throw of the 1993 Little League season came during the parade Sunday, as hundreds of baseball players, including Megan Moen, 7, of the T-ball playing Robinettes, marched up Mineral Avenue tossing candy to younger children and parents. AmandaÕs Friends Dallas Hurtig gives a tug and Asa Wood School classmates, including Ashlee Heinlein, push a wagon full of money for Hour Amanda to Glacier Bank on Wednesday. The kindergartners were entrusted with $294.86 raised by all the students at the school to benefit Amanda Johnson who is suffering from a heart condition and will need expensive heart surgery next month. Icy Search Lincoln County Deputies and David Thompson Search and Rescue members Sgt. Kirk Kraft and Lt. Daryl Anderson give diver Brent Teske a hand in searching the icy waters of Horseshoe Lake Monday for a vehicle. A 1987 pickup, owned by Kinniburg Bros. logging of Marion, was recovered from 25 feet of water. Company owners had not realized the truck was missing. Bill Kemp of Libby spotted debris floating in a small circle of open water at the east end of the lake. A heavy chain was found secured to the steering wheel and column.
