Libby’s annual two-day Riverfront Blues Festival is this weekend.

The fifth annual festival takes place Friday and Saturday at the Riverfront Park Pavilion along the Kootenai River. Local blues bands and performers from across the Northwest will perform at the event, which kicks off at 6 p.m. Friday.

Vendors selling food, beverages and crafts will be on site.

Tickets are $20 for Friday, $25 for Saturday or $40 for a full event ticket.

Camping is available at the nearby J. Neils Campground, with showers and bathrooms. Shuttles are provided to and from the festival. Purchase a $10 pass for either night, or by a two-night camping pass for $15.

The event is a nonprofit festival run by the Libby Revitalization Project, whose goal is to help the Libby economy by showcasing the area’s beauty and culture.
