MOSES LAKE - An Idaho couple was injured Thursday morning in a collision on Interstate 90 about five miles east of Moses Lake.

According to the State Patrol, Bill D. Guhlke, 66, and Gail J. Guhlke, 70, both of Priest River, Idaho, were injured about 10:40 a.m. when Lakisha M. Dillinger, 25, of Kelso, reportedly went to change lanes heading west on I-90 near milepost 184.

Dillinger reportedly struck the Guhlke vehicle, a 2000 Chevrolet Malibu, when he attempted to make a lane change into the right lane. The Malibu veered off the road to the right, hitting the bottom of the ditch, driving through a wire fence and continuing about 50 feet before coming to rest on its wheels, according to the State Patrol.

Grant County Fire District 5 and AMR were called to assist. Neck braces were administered for both victims and they were taken out of the vehicle on a stretcher. The victims were transported by American Medical Responce to Samaritan Hospital in Moses Lake with what appeared to be minor injuries, according to the State Patrol.

All three involved were reportedly wearing seatbelts at the time of the collision.

Dillinger was cited for improper lane change.
