60th Anniversary

Donald and Deane Nelson, of Coeur d'Alene, were married Aug. 11, 1953, and are celebrating 60 wonderful years later.

ENGAGEMENTS

Ehrhart-Wheeler

Caitlin S. Ehrhart and Adam L. Wheeler will be united in marriage today, Aug. 11, 2013, in Hayden Lake.

Caitlin is a graduate of Long Beach State and is employed as a physical therapist. Adam is a Coeur d'Alene High School graduate class of 2002 and Long Beach State graduate. He is employed as a physical therapist.

Moore-Turner

Steve and Diane Turner, of Hayden Lake, are happy to announce the upcoming marriage of their son, Grant Turner, to Ashley Moore.

The wedding date will be Saturday, Aug. 31, 2013, in Cathlamet, Wash., along the Columbia River.

Grant is a graduate of Coeur d'Alene High School class of 2008 and Skagit Valley College class of 2010 with a degree in welding. He is a welder for Dandy Digger and Supply in Cathlamet.

Ashley is the daughter of Joel Moore of Cathlamet and Jessica McClellan of Visalia, Calif. She is a 2007 graduate of Wahkiakum High School and a 2012 recreation management graduate from Eastern Washington University. She is employed with the Wahkiakum Chamber of Commerce.

The couple will live in Cathlamet after a honeymoon to Puerto Rico.

Fagan-Smith

Tammie Lund Fagan and Dwayne S. Smith are proud to announce their engagement and upcoming wedding. They would also like to invite you to join them Labor Day weekend camping and boating and especially to attend their wedding at 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 1, 2013, at Lake Elwell, Tiber Marina, Mont. A reception will immediately follow.

Tammie is the daughter of Tom and Betty Lund and the mother to Patrick, Samantha and Kelli Fagan and stepmother to John Fagan. Dwayne is the son of Cherylen McLaurin and Peter Smith and father to Kami, Brenden and Jacob Smith.

BIRTHS

Gabriella Rose Muehlhausen was born at 5:34 p.m. June 21, 2013, to Ashley and Paul Muehlhausen of Hayden. She weighed 6 pounds, 13 ounces and was 20 inches long. Sisters are Isabella, Sophia and Giavanna. Maternal grandparents are Larry and Gena Major. Paternal grandparents are Neil Muehlhausen and Stephanie Muehlhausen.

Tessa Nevaeh Roetcisoender was born at 12:53 a.m. July 14, 2013, to Sidney and Willie Roetcisoender of Coeur d'Alene. She weighed 7 pounds, 11 ounces and was 19.5 inches long. Brother is Taven. Maternal grandparents are Randy and Angie Hammond. Paternal grandparents are Craig and Brenda Roetcisoender.

MILITARY

Army Private First Class Mark Ethan Root graduated basic combat training on May 30, 2013, and advanced individual training on July 3, 2013, as a heavy equipment operator and asphalt specialist.

He was promoted for being the honor graduate of his class at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo., and is now located at Fairchild Air Force Base in Airway Heights, Wash., with the Army reserves.

He is from Rathdrum and is the son of Air Force retiree William L. Root.

Air Force Airman Stephen E. Welton graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

Welton is the son of Steven Welton of Hayden and Deanna Welton of Oakland, Ore.

He is a 2008 graduate of Coeur d'Alene High School.
