PRESS: Going over the Cliff
Coeur d'Alene Press | UPDATED 11 years, 5 months AGO
The fact that anti-global warming letter writers can’t or won’t debate their case based on facts prompts me to write this letter in terms that they will understand.
In the last great global climate change situation, God sent Noah a message that he was going to cause a great flood and told him to build an ark. Noah’s neighbor Zeke said, “There is no such thing as a great flood coming.” His other neighbor Zack said, “God will save me.”
It rained for 40 days and nights and as the flood washed the ark away to safety Noah heard his neighbor Zeke holler, “There is no such thing as a great flood.” His other neighbor Zack yelled, “God, why didn’t you save me?” A loud voice boomed down from Heaven, “I told Noah to warn you but you wouldn’t listen.”
I would tell your religious readers that God appointed me as his prophet to warn them that mankind has multiplied and replenished itself enough and that because of corporate greed we are not following the Bible’s injunction to be good stewards of the Earth but instead are poisoning the planet with toxic waste and pollution, but they would probably crucify me like they did the last prophet sent by God.
I did cancel my Press subscription before for four years mainly because of Cliff Harris and I’m very close to doing it again.
