Carl Luckow, 85

Carl passed away Aug. 3, 2013, in the hospital at Salmon Arm, B.C.

He was born in Hettinger N.D., and moved to the Bigfork area when he was 4. He attended school at Swan River and graduated from Bigfork High School.

He married Della Fenby in 1949. They lived in Swan Lake until moving to British Columbia in 1964. He was an owner-operator of a logging company there for many years. 

Carl is survived by his wife, Della; daughter, Rita, and Bryon Every; daughter, Marla and Warren Drader; two brothers, Fred and Gerald, and families, and sister Betty and Joe Lastufka, all from Washington, sister, Elsie, and Tom Pool and family, of Pueblo, Colo.; sister-in-law, Patricia Luckow, and family in Swan Lake; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Myrtle Luckow; and his brother Swede Luckow.

Services for Carl will be Aug. 17 in Sorrento, B.C.
