Country star gives benefit concert

A country music star will perform a fundraiser for people and pets Sept. 1.

Neal McCoy will play at an event that will benefit the Humane Society of Northwest Montana and the new emergency services campaign spearheaded by the Kalispell Regional Healthcare Foundation. The fundraiser takes place at Larry and Lynn Wilson’s River Bend Ranch in Bigfork.

Beer, wine and mixers will be served at 6 p.m., and the show begins at 7:30 p.m. Thomas Cuisine is providing a barbecue dinner.

McCoy has released 10 albums, three of which were certified platinum. His hits include “No Doubt About It,” “Wink,” “They’re Playing Our Song”  and “The Shake.”

In addition to McCoy, Jack Hanna and other celebrity guests will be on hand.

There is a limit of 500 attendees. Tickets are $750 per couple.
