Former Whitefish man to lead Missoula County Fairgrounds

Whitefish’s former director of parks and recreation has been hired as the new director of the Missoula County Fairgrounds.

Todd Garrett, 41, will replace retiring director Steve Earle.

A graduate of the University of Montana, Garrett moved to Whitefish in 2003. He worked as Whitefish’s recreation coordinator before serving as interim director of parks and recreation.

He went on to work at the Fish, Wildlife and Parks office in Bozeman.

Rehberg to attend rally for Jesus statue
