MOSES LAKE - It was a capacity crowd Wednesday night as the demolition derby headlined the Grant County Fair.

Without an empty seat in the house, drivers flew across the track skidding, sliding and crashing into one another.

The event kicked off with the time trials. Each driver attempted to driver around the mud slick track as fast as possible.

After the time trials, drivers took to the track to compete in the trophy dash and heat races.

Brian Wilson took home the prize in the lone trophy dash of the evening.

The ladies were able to get in on the racing action as well during the powder puff events.

The Australian Pursuit brought some excitement to the crowd as a group of drivers attempted to whip around the track as fast as posible without being passed. If you're passed you're eliminated.

Kyle Steinberg was able to win the Australian Pursuit as he was able to take advantage of the two remaining cars' mistake of crashing into one of the large tires that lined the inside of the track.

The night culminated with the demolition derby.

Mike Bise was able to avoid enough destruction to be the last car standing at the end of the derby.
