Premier Sports Center opened its doors in August 2012 with the notion of helping local athletes train indoors during the harsh winter conditions for the upcoming 2013 baseball season. After a successful winter training program and nearly 100 youth athletes in the Academy program we decided to sponsor our own teams.
We created an 8-and-under Northest Premier team which competed in Seattle Regional along with our 14U NW Premier team which started its long journey back in March competing in 11 tournaments and 75 plus games games. NW Premier finished third twice, second four times and now finally a championship in the Divison 2 classification of the Triple Crown World Series in Steam Boat Springs Colorado.
We competed against teams from all over, including Colorado, Oregon, Washington, Montana and Texas. The boys did a great job representing this area and the talent we have in our area. We had 19 hits and 2 home runs in the championship game, they were on fire and on a mission to win this Championship.
Premier Sports Center is proud to sponsor such great young men who are the foundation of building a solid program not just in baseball but all the other intangibles in life. I would like to thank all the parents of this first year team for all there support in our first season.
Premier Sports Center will be making new changes and hosting multiple athletic training opportunities this winter, along with hosting tryouts for 2014 NW Premier teams in November. Please contact Troy at Premier Sports Center at [email protected] for info on training and teams.
