Norm and Ginny Yost

50th Anniversary

Norm and Ginny Yost recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in Nampa at the home of their grandson, Rowdy and Taylor Yost. Those present at the family barbecue included sons, Mike Yost (Angie) of Meridian, Pete Yost of Nampa, Steve Yost of Portland, Ore.; and daughter Lauretta Wroten of Jordan Valley, Ore. This celebration of family included beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Upon returning home Norm and Ginny were honored with a gathering of friends for a delightful garden party at the home of Chuck and Claire Weller. They also thoroughly enjoyed a card shower initiated by their daughter, Kristin Lodi (Rich) of Carrollton, Texas, receiving many good wishes from friends across the miles from years past.

Norm and Ginny met and married 50 years ago in North Long Beach, Calif., initially living in North Long Beach, Westwood and Brentwood. Norm's work took them to Bakersfield and then Los Osos on the central coast before they settled in Modesto to raise their children near Norm's extended family. They retired to the beautiful Inland Northwest in 2005, living in Coeur d'Alene for several years before settling in Hayden. Norm and Ginny look forward to enjoying an Alaskan Cruise in the fall.

The Yosts want to express their gratitude to God for His unfailing faithfulness through the years. "The God who made the world and all things in it... Lord of heaven and earth... Himself gives to all, life and breath and all things... He is not far from each one of us; for in Him we and move and have our being."

- Excerpts from Acts 17, The Bible
