Kalispell woman critical after shooting

A Kalispell woman was critically wounded by gunshots Monday night and her husband has been charged with attempted deliberate homicide.
The Flathead County 911 Center received a call at 10:54 p.m. that a woman had just been shot by her husband and he had left the residence on foot.
Law officers found the woman outside her home with multiple gunshot wounds.
She was transported to Kalispell Regional Medical Center by Kalispell Ambulance. She underwent emergency surgery and is listed in critical condition.
The man, identified as 39-year-old Kalispell resident Steven Michael Foley, was found several blocks away from his home by the Flathead County Sheriffs Office.
Foley was transported to the Kalispell Police Department for investigation.
Foley was later taken to the Flathead County Detention Center and is being held on the charge of attempted homicide.
Police detectives conferred with the Flathead County Attorney’s Office throughout the investigation.
