The Western News | Hagadone News Network | UPDATED 11 years, 7 months AGO
For a first outing of the year, Libby golf coach Dann Rohrer said his team looks better than it did at the conclusion of last season.
“I think we’re going to be better,” Rohrer said. “If they play up to potential, we’ll be there.”
The Loggers exited the Whitefish course before team scores were tallied, but Rohrer thinks they did well.
“I guess we finished second or third,” Rohrer said.
John Cielak led all locals with an 85, followed by Morgan Wilkins with a 91, Quinn Sullivan with a 93, Luke Adamson shot a 107 and Kyle McNew did not finish.
For the girls, Erin Jager and Hannah Stewart shot a 139 and 140 respectively.
The Loggers travel to Kalispell next Thursday.
