Beierman captures overall win at ERP

EPHRATA - Ephrata racer Tom Beierman was able to capture the overall win at the Ephrata Raceway Saturday.

Longtime driver Rebel Jackson Jr. was in attendance for the Rebel Jackson Memorial with the Cast Iron Nationals.

The main event consisted of one wingless and one winged race. Beierman led all 30 laps of the of the wingless race and took second in the winged race.

Rafael Kurek, of Spokane, was able to take the win in the winged race.

In the Kim Janke State Farm Youth Hornets, Diana Schaible was able to take the lead early and held of Dylan Heer for her first main event win.

Despite spinouts and cautions during the Schaeffer Oil Mini Stocks, John Hagood maintained an early lead to complete his sweep of the Trophy A, Heat and Main events.

Brad Hector Jr. was able to hold off Ron Stewart in the Pepsi Street Stocks.

This Saturday is the season championship for all classes
