Eldon Bohle, 77, of Coeur d’Alene, passed away Aug. 24, 2013, in Coeur d’Alene. He was born Aug. 21, 1936, in McIntosh, S.D., to Waldemar and Elsie Bohle.

Eldon came to North Idaho as a child and went to school in Coeur d’Alene, graduating from Coeur d’Alene High School in 1954. He served in the Army and retired from KeyTronic/Apex. Eldon was a volunteer for the Post Falls Fire Department as an EMT, fireman and search and rescue. He also enjoyed photography, woodworking, bowling and raising exotic pheasants.

Survivors include his daughters, Kyra Bermel (Ron) of Coeur d’Alene and Kellee Gibbs of Post Falls. Eldon is also survived by seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; and is preceded in death by a brother and two sisters and his beloved dog, “Dandy.”

The family wishes contributions to be made to the National Kidney Foundation of Idaho, 3707 North Canyon Road Suite 1D, Provo, UT 84604-4585.

Visitation will be held from noon to 5 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 29, 2013, at English Funeral Chapel, Coeur d’Alene, with funeral services at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 30, 2013, at Hayden Lake Seventh-day Adventist Church, 12940 N. Government Way, Coeur d’Alene (just north of Lancaster Road), with Pastor Wayne Kablanow officiating. Burial to follow at Coeur d’Alene Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
