Local author James Webster “Jaz” Sherwood will sign copies of his book, “Going to the Sun,” at Sykes’ Saturday.

The novel is a remembrance of life in Glacier National Park. It tells the story of five generations of family life in the park. It tells tales of Apgar Village, greed, revenge, buried gold and unsolved murder.

Sherwood will be at the Kalispell restaurant from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

He will also be at Lake McDonald Lodge in Glacier National Park every week through the end of September. Catch Sherwood and get a signed copy of his novel from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Wednesday.

Sherwood has worked as a short-story writer, reporter, columnist, poet and international correspondent in his long career. Other books by Sherwood include “Shakespeare’s Ghost,” published in 2000, and “Some Sonnets of Flame and Flower,” published in 1998.
