Golf: Polson girls sweep Hamilton Invitational

SEELEY LAKE — The Polson girls took the top four spots at the Hamilton Invitational and the Pirate boys finished second as a team on Tuesday at Double Arrow Golf Course.
Alex Killian, Ryan Thurman and Dalton Noyes all finished in the top four to help the Pirates to a strong finish. Killian’s 9-over-par 81 tied him for second place while Thurman and Noyes tied each other for fourth place one stroke back. Reno Lindesmith finished in 10th with an 89 to round out the scoring for the Pirates.
Jaylin Kenney led the Polson girls with a tournament low score of 89 as the Pirates swept the top of the leader board. Peyton Anderson (97) finished second, Lauren Dupuis (99) third and Heather Frank (103) fourth.
The Pirates are back on the course on Thursday for the Browning Invitational in East Glacier.
