Kids took to the Mutton Bustin' competition held at the Lil-Buck-a-Roo Rodeo held at the end of the day Saturday in Dixon. The kids tried their luck against the sheep, many of them lasting a few seconds before their ride came to an end.

PLAINS – The Koo-Koo-Sint fires have merged after 25 to 30 mile per hour winds, 95-degree weather and 15 percent relative humidity came together to create perfect conditions for the fire to grow.
