A Columbia Falls woman has pleaded guilty to felony drug possession after being charged along with three others following a methamphetamine investigation.

Heather Piland (formerly Faller), 39, entered her plea Nov. 21 in Flathead District Court. In exchange for her plea, a misdemeanor count of the same charge was dismissed.

Piland was located May 21 at her vehicle in the driveway of the home of Christin Stordalen during a Northwest Drug Task Force search, and she gave consent for a search of her vehicle. An agent found small amounts of marijuana and meth inside the vehicle.

Stordalen, 29, and his 34-year-old girlfriend, Mysterie Callihan, are charged with felony counts of operation of an unlawful clandestine laboratory and criminal possession with intent to distribute. A search of the home turned up numerous items used to make meth, including chemicals, tubing and a generator, as well as several bags of meth, according to a court document.

Stordalen also allegedly sold pseudoephedrine to Jonathan and Rachel Kemppainen, 35 and 38, respectively, who also are charged with felony operation of an unlawful clandestine laboratory.

Piland faces up to five years in prison and a fine of up to $50,000 when she is sentenced on Jan. 16, 2014.

Stordalen, Callihan and Rachel have all entered not-guilty pleas. The next hearings for Stordalen and Callihan are set for Jan. 21 while Rachel has a hearing on Dec. 18.

Jonathan Kemppainen signed a plea agreement, agreeing to plead guilty in exchange for a sentence recommendation of five years with the Montana Department of Corrections followed by seven years of probation.

A sentencing hearing in his case has been set for Dec. 12.
