Peggy, as she was known, was born in Wausau, Wis., on Feb. 12, 1928. Peggy grew up in Lincoln, Neb. There she married her husband Richard E. Inbody, on Nov. 24, 1948. The two made a home for their three children, Susan, Scott and Pam in the San Francisco Bay area. Peggy was active in PTA, Republican Women and her church. Peggy worked for the Sunnyvale School system, at Mango Junior High for 10 years.
Mr. and Mrs. Inbody retired to Hayden Lake, Idaho, in 1985. Once again Peggy was active in her church, Christ the King Lutheran Church and volunteered with the Emerald Estates Water District. Peggy was well-known for being a wonderful cook and candy maker.
She also enjoyed gardening, reading and writing poetry. Peggy and Richard both enjoyed their times camping, fishing and boating together.
Peggy is survived by husband Richard Inbody; and daughter Susan Dunnick of Bonners Ferry, Idaho; her son, W. Scott Inbody of Texas and daughter Pam Smith of Colorado. Grandchildren are Jonathan Dunnick, Richard Dunnick, Kimberley Keating, Ryan Inbody and Sam Smith. Peggy has five great-grandchildren: Annie Marie and John Robert Keating, Nick and Clara Inbody, and Sam Smith, Charlotte Dunnick.
