Mary “Inez” Florence, 87, of Hayden, Idaho, passed away on December 10, 2013 in Coeur d’ Alene.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, December 13, 2013 at English Funeral Chapel with Gary Fox of New Life Community Church officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.

Inez was born Plainview, Arkansas to Dewey D. Morris and Arlene (Anderson) Morris on September 30, 1926. She went to school in Wilmington, California. She married Jim Florence on September 17, 1946 in Modesto, California. She worked as a Damage Clerk for Consolidated Freightways for 22 years. She attended New Life Community Church and loved to read, crochet, and knit; and she loved to fish! Most of all she loved serving Her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Brother Dewy D. Morris Junior and parents Dewy D. Morris and Arlene M. Bosworth preceded Inez in death. Inez is survived by her husband Jim, three children: Daughters Connie (David) Thompson of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, Frances (Bradley) La Verne of Tracy, California, and son Jim (Barbara) Florence of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho; Nine grandchildren: Andrea, Erika, Michael, Tony, Jennifer, Elizabeth, Joshua, Rebecca and Jesse, and nine great grandchildren: Rachael, Justin, Tacy, Kenny, Kaden, Aiden, Toby, Baylor, and Reagan.
