BUTTE — Columbia Falls wrestlers had the best showing on the team front of the four local schools competing at the Mining City Duals on Friday.

The Wildcats finished second in their pool. They lost to Missoula Sentinel 65-6, but edged Butte 42-36 and crushed Anaconda 69-10.

Flathead finished third in its pool, losing to Great Falls and Helena while beating Conrad.

Glacier and Polson were fourth in their respective pools. Both schools lost three times in dual action.

Wrestling resumes today at 9 a.m.

Columbia Falls is in the winners bracket while Flathead, Glacier and Polson are in the consolation bracket.
