Les Rice service award ceremony postponed

ST. IGNATIUS — The service award ceremony for former Mission girls basketball coach Les Rice originally scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 21 has been postponed until an undetermined date in January.

Rice, who coached the Mission girls basketball team for 22 years through last season, requested that the event be postponed, according to a blog post from St. Ignatius activities director Rich Ferris.

Wood is charged with deliberate homicide in connection with the death of Thompson Falls resident Matthew LaFriniere in May 2018.
