Bright Christmas displays sought

In the countdown to Christmas, The Press wants to know about dazzling Christmas displays in the area.

Send the complete address (number and street) and city, plus a short description of the display and any other pertinent information such as the area (if in the county) or neighborhood to [email protected].

Photos of the displays can be emailed to [email protected]. Photos should be JPEG files and at least 5 megabytes in size.

Here are addresses sent to us so far:

Coeur d'Alene

* 2391 S. Espinazo Drive, decorated front and back.

* 1905 W. Appleway Ave., music to be included.

* 1930 N. Fifth St., lights coordinating with music, five inflatables, candy canes to be handed out the week of Christmas.

* Lakeside Avenue directly behind Peterson's grocery on Sherman Avenue, a projector with Christmas themes shines on the back side of the grocery store.

* 21st and Coeur d'Alene

* 1907 Montana

* 1918 W. Hampson, north of Dalton, west of Highway 95, nativity scene.

Post Falls

* 1591 Yaquina Dr., in Montrose subdivision west of Chase

* 710 E. 13th Ave.

* 4215 E. Weatherby Ave. (in Hunter's Glen off Ross Point Road), "bright and inviting; many decorations adorn the yard and front porch."

* 3402 Serenity Drive, just off Fisher, west of Chase Road, in the Meadows subdivision

Hayden

* 179 East Miles Ave., handcrafted ferris wheel, nativity set, eight inflatables, skating penguins

Rathdrum

* 15472 N. Ramsey Road, lights shine to music from 4-9 p.m. each day.
