Pershing “Perch” Presnell, 95, passed away Friday, Dec. 20, 2013. Perch was born on Oct. 10, 1918, in Scobey, Mont. He was a World War II veteran. Perch married Violet Channel on June 28, 1947. They had three sons: Robert, Larry and Charles, who died at birth.

Perch is survived by his wife, Violet, and sons Bob and his wife Priscilla of Havre, Larry and his wife Jeanie of Kalispell, grandchildren Gil Presnell, Melissa Presnell, Kevin Presnell, Amy Clark, Jonathan Presnell, Nathan Presnell and three step-grandchildren, Tim Engebretson, Amy Kaldor, Wendi Hulett, 13 great-grandchildren, 13 step-great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Cremation has taken place. No service is planned. A private family memorial will be held.
