Wahluke tops Cle Elum on mats

MATTAWA - The Wahluke High School boys scored four victories on the mats and added several forfeits to run away from Cle Elum last week, 54-24, in a South Central A Conference wrestling match.
The individual winners for the Warriors were:
- 113 - Sebastian Barajas pinned Charlie Hoffine first round.
- 138 - Adrian Toscano, 10-6 decision against Carson Hoffine.
- 145 - Ulysis Cruz pinned Cole Angehrn first round.
- 160 - Saulo Lopez decisioned Matthew Anderson, 12-10.
In another SCAC match the same night, Wahluke lost, 54-35, to powerful, state-ranked Zillah.
However, there were four individual mat wins. The Warrior winners were:
- 120 - Chris Morales pinned Brian Funk in 54 seconds.
- 126 - Chris Fabela pinned Alejandro Ochoa in 1:27.
- 138 - Adrian Toscano won, 6-3, against Joseph St. George.
- 195 - Jack Yorgesen won against Lazaro Ochoa by injury default.
