Donna Lee Erickson, Our Mom, Grandma, Nana and Great-Grandma passed away peacefully Feb. 2, 2013, at Hospice House in Coeur d’Alene. She was born on April 11, 1931, in Santa Monica, Calif., where she lived until moving to Coeur d’Alene with husband Dick in 1981.

She married Richard “Dick” Erickson in June 1948 and together they raised three children, Rick, Judy and Robb. She held various administrative positions throughout her life including working at North Idaho College after relocating to Coeur d'Alene.

She enjoyed knitting, stamping, square dancing, her pets (throughout the years) and being involved in the Cougar Gulch Grange Hall and the Lake City Senior Center. She loved her family and was a good cook.

She is survived by two sons, Rick (Mary) Erickson and Robb (Brenda) Erickson; son-in-law Mark Anderson; grandchildren, Joel Erickson, Shane (Melanie) Anderson, Jessica (Mark) Nelson, Kelly (Bryan) West and Tracy Erickson; and great-grandchildren, Kaden and Kianna Nelson, and Chloe, Cole and Corbin Anderson. Extended family Angela Erickson and Pierce Johnson.

She was preceded in death by husband Richard “Dick” Erickson, daughter Judy Anderson and grandson Life Erickson.

She was loved by many and will be dearly missed. A special Thank You to Hospice House for their wonderful care of mom while she was there.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, at English Funeral Chapel, 1139 N. Fourth St., Coeur d'Alene. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her memory to Hospice House, 2290 W. Prairie Ave., Coeur d'Alene, ID 83815.
