PLAINS – The Sanders County Arts Council put on a dance event at the Plains High School gymnasium on Wednesday to integrate dance and curriculum based on science and Native Americans.
Michael Becker and Colin Rant, two professional dancers, came to the school from New York City to show off their moves and help educate the students on topics ranging from the water cycle and to “I Love to Read Month,” which happens to be February.
The duo performed for an hour, having the students dance along with them.
The team performed at five different Sanders County schools, spreading their love of the fine arts to all in attendance.
