Noice heads up artists' forum
Daily Inter-Lake | UPDATED 11 years, 11 months AGO
Kalispell painter Marshall Noice leads this month’s Crits and Croissants forum at the Hockaday Museum of Art.
Crits and Croissants offers those who create art a chance to have their work reviewed by professionals. Artists 15 and older may bring one or more pieces of recently created artwork for critique while enjoying coffee and croissants.
Noice paints in response to things that he sees in the natural world. His paintings capture a place at a particular time, capturing a moment in his sensibility. His overriding goal as a painter is to create a work that resonates with the spirit of the landscape that inspired him to begin painting.
Noice will head up Crits and Croissants from 10:30 a.m. to noon Saturday in the Hockaday’s classroom. The forum is $5 for museum members or $7 for nonmembers.
The museum is located at 302 Second Ave. E., Kalispell. For more information, call 755-5268 or visit www.hockadaymuseum.org.
