Trojans take Chiefs 43-38 in overtime

Troy’s boys basketball team was smacked by No. 1 Bigfork on Friday 67-22 but rebounded in a big way on its home court.

The Trojans took the Ronan Chiefs to overtime and earned an exciting 43-38 win behind Bruce Metz’s 13 points.

The Lady Trojans basketball team was outscored 25-7 in the second half of its 44-19 loss to the Bigfork Vals.

Troy then faced Ronan for a nonconference matchup at home.

The Maidens romped in the second half, scoring 36 points as Troy fell 48-34. Breanna Opland led Troy with eight points.
