Man gets trapped in Kalispell car wash

Sunday morning, a caller told Kalispell Police that he was trapped inside a malfunctioning automatic car wash on West Idaho Street and needed help getting out. The man got out and said he would call the owner to advise the car wash has a problem.
Thirty feet of metal was reportedly stolen from a truck on First Avenue West.
A vehicle struck a retaining wall and knocked a chunk of concrete through a basement window at a North Meridian Road building.
Someone reported a Saturday night home burglary on 10th Avenue West.
Sunday morning, a Woodland Avenue caller reported an unknown man stumbling around on the front porch and ringing the doorbell. An officer took the man to the police department, where someone picked him up.
An underage drinking party was reported near a business on East Idaho Street.
Saturday night, a woman told police that three girls urinated on her daughter’s belongings at a home on East Oregon Street. An officer spoke to the parties involved, and most agreed the matter would be handled best internally.
Earlier on Saturday, a caller said four teenagers stole items from a business on U.S. 93.
People were reportedly throwing eggs off the railroad bridge.
A woman said another woman flipped her off and then tried to run her off the road.
Early Saturday morning, a bartender reported a man who refused to leave to the Whitefish Police. The man brought a bottle of whiskey into the bar and was sleeping on a couch but agreed to leave before officers could respond.
A woman said her husband may have been assaulted Friday night while walking back to his hotel room from a restaurant. The man woke up in his hotel room and had injuries on his face, but had no idea how he got them.
Columbia Falls Police got a report of an 18-year-old man beating up his mom Saturday afternoon, but the call proved unfounded.
Early Sunday morning, officers eventually stopped a suspicious van that made a U-turn on U.S. 2 and tried to run. Parents arrived to pick up the van and its occupants.
Polson Police arrested an allegedly drunken driver who got in an accident with property damage early Saturday morning.
