Whitefish Theatre Company will hold a reception Carolyn Pitman Feb. 28.

Pitman, one of the founding members of the nonprofit community theater group, served as its managing director until the company moved into the O’Shaughnessy Center in 1998. At that time, she became the group’s executive director.

Pitman stepped down from that position in January; she has turned over executive director post to Kathryn McEnery.

The reception will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. at the O’Shaughnessy Center. Community members are invited to join in honoring her 34 years of service to the organization and the community. Bring or send letters and photos to include in an album for Pitman.

In lieu of gifts, a donation can be made to the planned Carolyn Pitman Community Room at the O’Shaughnessy Center.

Send donations and letters to 1 Central Ave., Whitefish MT 59937, or email wtc@bigsky.net.
