Truman Leonard Struck, 93

Truman L. Struck passed away at North Valley Hospital on Jan. 19, 2013, from congestive heart failure and pneumonia.

He is survived by his sister, LaVerna McFadden, of Lakeside; brother, Harold, and Bettie, of Great Falls; his sisters-in-law, Carol of Great Falls and Betty of California; his six children, Kaye Fulcher, and Barbara and Bill Robbins of Kalispell, Will and Trish of Kent, Wash., Janice and Tom Erickson of Libby, Marjorie and Rod Clairmont of Milton, Wash., and Tom and Marla of Auburn, Wash. Truman’s extended family includes 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson; along with many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean, of 68 years; brothers, Lawrence, Dennis, George and Harley; and sister, Dorothy; brother-in-law, Dean McFadden; and grandsons, Samuel Erickson and Jason Struck.

A memorial service was held Jan. 27 in Libby. 

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at the Montana Veterans Home in Columbia Falls for their excellent care of Dad over the past several months, as well as the emergency room doctors and staff for their care and consideration during his last hours.

An inurnment will take place at a later time.
