Man pleads not guilty to rape

A 19-year-old Boulder, Colo., man pleaded not guilty Tuesday during a Flathead District Court hearing to felony charges of sexual intercourse without consent and sexual assault.
According to a court document, Bjorn Fox is alleged to have molested a 15-year-old girl in 2011 when she spent the night at his house.
It states that Fox admitted spending the night with the girl and that he knew her age, but said he did not consider anything that happened to be more than “cuddling.”
Fox also allegedly said he did not know if what he did was legal or not and did not feel comfortable admitting any of his actions until he knew for sure.
The girl told police Fox had tried doing “sexual stuff” with her despite her continued protests, molesting her before falling asleep. The court document states that a semen stain on the girl’s pants analyzed at the state crime lab matched Fox’s DNA profile.
Fox faces between four and 200 years in prison and a fine of up to $100,000. His next hearing is scheduled for June 12.
