(AP) — The body of a 25-year-old Whitefish man who was last seen on Tuesday has been found in the Whitefish River.

Police in Whitefish say the body of John Marshall Denny was recovered from the river on Friday about 200 yards east of the Columbia Avenue Bridge.

A helicopter dispatched to help search for Denny spotted the body in about 3 feet of water.

The Flathead County coroner is investigating the death, but there was no sign of foul play.

Denny was last seen Tuesday leaving his residence. His family reported him missing.
