POLSON - Clifford Oldhorn, a convicted murderer who was released from custody last week, returned to jail only days later after calling authorities because he feared for his life.

Court documents report that on Feb. 15, Oldhorn called authorities and said that he felt threatened by relatives of Harold Mitchell, Jr., the CSKT leader he had previously been convicted of killing.

No charges have been filed against those who allegedly threatened and attempted to stab Oldhorn. Oldhorn was also found to have violated several conditions of his probation, by possessing weapons and alcohol.

On Wednesday, Oldhorn is scheduled to have a probation hearing in the Lake County Courthouse.
