According to Sheriff Chuck Curry, the incident started when the alleged victims were passed by the alleged suspects on Montana 82, and then followed the suspects through Somers and to their home, pulling into the driveway. Curry said deputies were unable to substantiate whether any guns were used, although it was possible there were some fireworks involved. The incident was written up and passed along to the Flathead County Attorney’s office.
