Eureka and St. Ignatius kept their Western B divisional basketball tournament hopes alive Friday morning with loser-out victories in boys action at Flathead High School.

Dalton Smith and Tanner Blankers both tallied 16 points to guide Eureka past Troy 45-43.

Smith also had 10 rebounds.

Stuart Grant scored 16 points and Patrick Eichert added 11 as St. Ignatius thumped Thompson Falls 63-29.

Dylan Evans had nine points and eight rebounds for St. Ignatius.

Eureka (2-21) is back in action today at 9:30 a.m. while St. Ignatius plays at 11:15. The winners of those contests move on to the consolation final at 7 p.m.
