RONAN — Vanessa Stavish scored 18 points and pulled down 10 rebounds to push the third-ranked Frenchtown Broncs past top-ranked Columbia Falls 49-37 Saturday night in the girls championship game at the Northwestern A divisional basketball tournament at the Ronan Events Center.
Frenchtown outscored Columbia Falls 11-6 in the fourth quarter to net the victory.
Haley Belgarde had 12 points for Columbia Falls and Winter Kemppainen 11.
Frenchtown (16-4) advances to the Class A state tournament in Butte Feb. 28, March 1-2.
Columbia Falls (16-4) faces Polson in a challenge game Monday at 7 p.m. at the Ronan Events Center with the winner advancing to state.

Luke Kazlauskas popped for 18 points and Alex Presnell 15 as fourth-ranked Columbia Falls defeated Frenchtown in the Northwestern A divisional tournament championship game at the Ronan Events Center.
It was the fifth straight divisional title for the Wildcats.
Matt Price tallied 17 points for Frenchtown. John Chapman added 12.
Columbia Falls (15-5)and Frenchtown (10-10) advance to the Class A state tournament March 7-9 in Billings.
