Mary Ann was born in Decatur, Ill., and moved to Coeur d’Alene in 1970 to raise her four children. After spending the day with those closest to her she passed peacefully in her sleep in Coeur d’Alene.

Mary Ann was a real estate agent in the Coeur d’Alene area for many years before retiring to help with her husbands towing company. She loved spending time with family and friends, country music and dancing. She spent many weekend’s at the races at State Line Speedway with her husband Jim. She enjoyed crocheting, crafts and loved the North Idaho outdoors, but her favorite thing in life was the beauty of a butterfly.
Don’t weep at my grave, for I am not there, I have a date with a butterfly, to dance in the air. I’ll be singing in the sunshine wild and free, playing tag with the wind while I’m waiting for thee.
