BONNERS FERRY – While out on own recognizance release for two previous burglary charges, Aspen A. Schaffer, 18, allegedly committed six more burglaries in the Naples area on the night of Dec. 21.
A deputy responded to a report of vehicle burglary in Naples on Saturday, Dec. 22 and found evidence to link Schaffer to the crime, according to Boundary County Sheriff’s Chief Deputy Richard Stephens.
A deputy found substantial evidence that Schaffer committed seven burglaries that night in the downtown Naples area, according to Stephens.
Stolen items were mainly small items, such as tools and handguns, taken from outbuildings, vehicles and residences. Deputies recovered almost all the stolen items.
