Ex-friend is possible stalker

Saturday, a woman complained to Kalispell Police that another woman has been stalking her for about a month. The two used to be friends and now they are not. The woman said her stalker followed her to a Chinese restaurant and stayed in the parking lot and stared at her.

Later that evening, someone reported a man in plaid pajama pants and a woman in a gray sweatshirt fighting outside at Begg Park Drive and Bluestone. The dispute was verbal only, but the parties were separated and an officer remained on scene to issue citations.

A Hawthorn Avenue caller told police a drunk man was trying to get into the apartment. The caller said the drunk man had threatened him and his girlfriend.

Early Sunday morning, a Merganser Drive woman told police her husband was drunk, aggressive and out of control. The man was taken to a hotel for the night.

A bicyclist told police a car hit him on Eighth Street West. The man said his leg hurt, but he refused medical treatment.

Two fighting siblings on Second Avenue West agreed to separate and go back to sleep Sunday morning when police responded to their dispute. The sister called police to complain about her drunk brother harassing her.

An officer stopped a suspected transient on Grandview Drive but it turned out to be a jogger stretching.

Saturday evening, a West Fourth Street man told Whitefish Police that someone went through an unlocked car parked in his driveway. The man said nothing was taken, but it looked like someone went through neighbors’ cars as well.

Early Sunday morning, someone went through a vehicle on Geddes Avenue. Nothing was reported missing.

Polson Police arrested someone for possession of alcohol or intoxicants early Saturday morning on 21st Avenue West.

Deputies with the Lake County Sheriff’s Office arrested someone for driving under the influence early Saturday morning on Olson Road.
