Experienced ski instructor Lou Albershardt will teach the basics to participants ages 16 and older. Participants will meet at the Lone Pine State Park Visitor Center for the classroom portion and then travel to Herron Park for skiing practice.

Participants can bring their own skis and equipment or rent their gear and are advised to dress for cold weather.

Pre-registration is required for this $10 class. To register call Kim at 755-2706 ext. 2. Lone Pine State Park is located five miles southwest of Kalispell and offers vivid views of the valley with seven-and-a-half miles of trails and an interpretive center that provides information on living in a wildlife urban interface.
