Bluehawks give it their all against Libby, Bigfork

THOMPSON FALLS – The Bluehawks hit the road Thursday to play the Libby Loggers, falling behind in a close game  and ending the match with a score of 41-54.

Thompson Falls led the game entering into the fourth quarter with a score of 34-33. However, unable to hold the lead, the Loggers came back and finished the game with a 21-7 run. Baptiste Seynaeve and Tyler Bates both netted ten points each with Derek Whittenburg securing eight. Ross Dalby shouldered six of the team’s points with Trais Hoisington bringing in three. Tanner Laws and Dominique Holt both scored two points each.

After the Libby game, the Bluehawks faced off Bigfork in Thompson Falls, falling short to the undefeated Vikings. Seynaeve put up 12 points, Dalby had seven, Bates posted four while Caleb Bates put up three. Whittenburg, Hoisington and Dylan Vaught both put up two points in the game.

The Bluehawks will hit the road yet again and travel to Florence on Thursday for another showdown.

Their next home game will take place on Friday once again taking on Libby for a chance at redemption.
