Olsen helps visiting Kelowna drop Chiefs

SPOKANE - Ryan Olsen scored twice and the Kelowna Rockets defeated the Spokane Chiefs 4-2 in Western Hockey League action Friday night in front of 5,209 at the Spokane Arena.

Spokane's Brenden Kichton tied the game at 1-1 midway through the first period with his 15th goal of the season.

Spokane fell behind 4-1 midway through the second after three unanswered goals by Kelowna.

Blake Gal, who assisted on Kichton's goal, scored 41 seconds into the final period.

Spokane's Alessio Bertaggia assisted on both goals.

The Chiefs (28-16-1-0, 57 points) host the Tri-City Americans tonight at 7.

Spokane sits in second place in the Western Conference's U.S. Divison, two points ahead of Tri-City.
