The following students were named to Flathead Valley Community College’s dean’s list for the fall 2012 semester. The students completed a minimum of 12 credits in courses numbered 100 or above and have a minimum semester grade point average of 3.5. Canyon bike trail meeting May 16

A bill requiring the state to electronically verify that all foreign nationals are in the U.S. legally before issuing a Montana driver’s license or ID card was signed into law by Gov. Brian Schweitzer on April 18.

Whitefish Mountain Resort’s post-season uphill policy expired last week, but with significant snowfall and changing weather conditions, the resort reminds skier and hikers that avalanche hazards in the ski area’s permitted boundaries do exist.
