SANDPOINT - A Coeur d'Alene bail bond company is revoking bail for a North Idaho woman awaiting trial for felony child endangerment in Bonner County.

National Bail Bonds surrendered Heidi Julia Johnson to authorities after revoking her $35,000 bond, court records show. Nanette Meaux of National Bail Bonds said in court documents that Johnson failed to comply with unspecified terms and conditions of bond.

National Bail Bonds further contends in court filings that they were also revoking bail because there is "reasonable information" that Johnson is a flight risk.

Johnson, 29, of Bonners Ferry, made an initial appearance in magistrate court on Tuesday, where her $35,000 bail was sustained.

Johnson is accused of failing to protect a preteen girl from repeated sexual assaults committed by her husband, Ernest Ray Johnson III. The alleged abuse occurred from 2008 to 2010, according to charging papers.

Ernest Johnson is charged with lewd conduct and sexual abuse of a minor. He is free on bail while awaiting trial.

The couple's cases have been consolidated and they were to be tried together this month in 1st District Court. However, the trial was postponed after the prosecution indicated additional charges might be filed against the couple.

The couple is scheduled to be tried in April.
