Biology instructor Ruth Wrightsman examines a culture in a petri dish with Flathead Valley Community College students Kyle Selhost, left, and Rob Mackin. She recently reported to the Board of Trustees on the college’s biotechnology program and the many job opportunities available to students who transfer to a bachelor’s degree program. Mackin, a Kalispell native, will graduate May 4 from Montana State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in cell biology and neuroscience.
