Lady Devils battle it out on the court

NOXON – The Lady Devils fell to St. Regis on Friday during a District 14-C matchup.

The ladies lost 25-47. McKenna Krueger and Shelby Clark both scored six points, leading Noxon. Brooke Smithborne added five points to the scoreboard while Tierrah Camara and Kendall Aitken scored four each.

The Noxon ladies then went to battle Charlo on Saturday, losing 14 to 54. Aitken led the team with six points while Krueger, Clark, Smithborne and Zoey Osborne all scored two points.

The Lady Devils dropped to 3-5 in league and 3-10 overall.

Their next game will be away against Arlee on Thursday.

PLAINS – The Koo-Koo-Sint fires have merged after 25 to 30 mile per hour winds, 95-degree weather and 15 percent relative humidity came together to create perfect conditions for the fire to grow.
