For the 11th year in a row the Soroptimist International Club of Bigfork is using champagne and chocolate to bring people together for Valentine’s Day and to raise money for their group to continue supporting domestic violence and cancer awareness, scholarships and promoting math and science skills for girls.

The Bigfork group also works with Soroptimist groups around the world with efforts such as Stopping the Traffic of Women and Children, Limbs for Life and Expanding Your Horizons for teens.

This year’s Champagne, Chocolate and You event, “Show us a Little Love,” will include hors d’oeuvres, champagne and gourmet chocolate desserts as well as a silent auction and raffle items. Auction and raffle items include spa services, art, gift baskets, jewelry, and other romantic gifts to go along with Valentine’s Day.

“Show us a Little Love” will be at the Bigfork Art and History Museum on Friday, Feb. 8 from 5-7 p.m. Advance tickets $20 per person, $25 the day of the event. Tickets are available at all Bigfork bank locations and the Bigfork Museum. For more information, email sibigfork@soroptimist.net or call 837-6927.
